The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

I stumbled into this story while reading Director David Fincher's
profile in imdb.com. The Curious case of Benjamin Button is FIncher's
next project that will be shown in Nov of this year. Its based on
the short story by F.Scott Fitzgerald of the same title and I was
able to get the short story link to read on line in one of the forums.
The story is about this old man or should I say baby who was born
with the features of that of 70 year old man. He keeps on looking
younger as he grows older (are you confused now?)

I fell in love with the story after reading it. I laughed so
hard when Benjamin asked his father what should he call him and should
he call him baby until he come up of a name? His father said he said
be called Methusellah. Lots of funny and heartfelt scenes in the story
that I cant wait to see on the film.
Wonder how Fincher (Zodiac, Seven) will transform the story to a film.
Film stars Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. This is going to be awesome. Cant wait.
if you want to read the short story.

a filmbuff request...

Oscar Best Picture nominees Juno, Atonement, There Will Be Blood, No Country For Old Men and Michael Clayton as far as I know hasn’t been shown here in the Philippines yet and I don’t know when are the movie houses owners are going to screen those movies.

Film buffs like me has to settle for pirated DvD copy to see those films. Ok, I know its not right to be doing that but I don’t know other way to watch the movies I want to see. I cant download illegaly from the Internet because I don’t want to do that and I don’t have a computer at home.

I settled for reading movie quotes in imdb.com. I love the lines from Juno (i so wanted to watch this film) (piece of trivia: do you know that the scriptwriter of Juno (Diablo Cody) is a former stripper?

I hope owners of movie houses will screen those films before the awards season or it would be great if they can screen them simultaneously to the United States.
